It used to be that to get professional pictures you had to find a commercial photographer that could not only take the pictures, but has the ability to develop the film and retouch problems with the picture. It was an art form that required experience and the right equipment and was not something that most amateur photographers could do.
That is why we would pay what we had to for professional pictures. Times have changed and digital photography has been the biggest reason behind the change. The need for expensive camera equipment and editing equipment is no longer necessary to create high quality images. These are only some of the things that you will be able to accomplish with Photoshop. Other ideas include adding tattoos, making people look older or younger, and whitening of the teeth.
